The Challenge
Having a clear vision and mission provides leadership and gives employees an important "touchstone" to help them make appropriate decisions about the work they are being asked to perform. But what does an organization's vision and mission look like?
A Vision statement identifies where the organization is headed. It is a broad qualitative statement of what the organization would like to be in the future. It includes key assumptions about the market place, the organization and its people.
